Wedding September 19, 2009

Kayla was a co-worker of Tom's. I met her in January 2009 and we began working on her wedding plan. Kayla's bouquet was hand tied with ivory satin ribbon, braided with gold ribbon and finished with a bow. Her flowers were lilies, roses and baby's breath.

Kayla wore a beautiful champagne wedding dress with gold trim. Kayla was great to work with. She was so easy to talk to and knew exactly what she was looking for.

The head table piece was made with lilies and roses. To enhance the color scheme, gold curly ting was added as an accent and rose petals were sprinkled on the table.

A lily was placed between the bride and groom glasses that sat on top of a round mirror. Each table had a centerpiece of one vase of varying heights that was placed on top of gold leather leaf. Each vase contained gold and white rock, a cymbidium orchid and a floating candle.

Memorial Angel

Perfect in a garden or as a memorial. Our Angel stands 16" tall and displays the verse "Memories are more than just a link to the past...Sometimes they're all we have that will last." She can hold either a fresh or silk flower.

Wedding September 5, 2009

The photos for this post were taken by Jodee Ball of JP Ball Photography. Jodee is an exceptional photographer, very creative and a lot of fun to work with. I really appreciate her taking my photos and helping me with my advertising. Visit them at www.jpballphotography.com

I met this bride through my son Matthew. He went to get a haircut and while the stylist was cutting his hair, she began to tell him that her daughter was getting married. She jokingly asked him if he knew of any florists. He then proceeded to tell her "my mom is a florist" and then he gave her my name and number. When she called, we set up an appointment for a wedding consultation and after meeting with her and her daughter, we were able to come up with a wedding plan that the bride was happy with and one that fit into their budget. Of course Matthew wants a commission for finding the client :-)

The bride chose a hand tied bouquet with roses and freesia.

The brides maids carried hand tied bouquets with roses and gerber daisies.

For the toss bouquet, the bride wanted white and pink daisies.
