Silk Wedding Bouquets

In addition to our fresh flower wedding bouquets, we also can design them from silk. Many of our bride's like to have a silk bouquet so that they can enjoy their flowers for years to come. However, if you still choose a fresh flower bouquet and you would like to have it preserved, we can provide assistance for that service as well. To see more of our silk bouquets, go to our web site at http://www.bellagardenflorals.com They are pictured on the wedding gallery under silk.

Wedding July 16, 2010

I have been working with Rebecca and her mom Kathy to plan the flowers for her July 16th wedding. Rebecca wanted her bouquets to be full of color and texture, so that is what we did. The flowers used in her wedding were blue Iris, purple Delphinium, orange Roses, pink, orange and yellow Gerber Daisies, yellow Freesia, pink Aster and Stargazer Lilies. Rebecca and Kathy are both so very sweet and I truly enjoyed working with them. I love my job but once the weddings are over, I always miss talking with all of the wonderful people I have the pleasure of meeting.

Wedding June 26th, 2010
The bride Rebecca and I never met until her actual wedding day. The floral consultations were done either by phone or email. So it was exciting to finally meet her...and she was just as sweet in person as she was on the phone. Rebecca loves the wildflower look so I designed her wedding plan around flowers that you would find in a meadow. Her bouquet and her 9 bridesmaid's bouquets matched the altar arrangement that she requested. Sunflowers and a variety of daisies and different greeneries were used to obtain the meadow feel that was created. I love the natural wildflower look myself so I had a lot of fun designing the flowers.

Waynesville High School Graduation 2010
Congratulations to the graduates of Waynesville High School class of 2010 !
Sharon from Waynesville High School, hired me to make the corsages, bouts, podium arrangement and two of the plant stands pictured here for graduation. It was a lot of fun working with the sunflowers and fuji mums that they chose.
Doug & Kristen's Wedding, May 29, 2010
My nephew Doug & his beautiful bride Kristen were married on May 29, 2010 at Lake Lyndsay. The weather was wonderful and the setting at Lake Lyndsay was gorgeous. We are so very happy and blessed to have Kristen officially become a part of our family!
We used a variety of flowers in Doug & Kristen's arrangements...orchids, callas, roses, asiatic lilies, hydrangea, peonies and freesia. As you see in the picture (right) Doug & Kristen also had a memorial table with pictures of those who have passed but held a special place in the ceremony.

Wedding May 15, 2010
Today was the wedding of Becky and Jeff. I was so thankful that the weather cooperated for their outdoor wedding. Becky is such a sweet sweet person and I truly enjoyed every conversation we had together. She chose white calla lilies, white freesia, limonium and light and medium pink roses for her bouquet. The bouquet was hand tied and accented with pink crystals. Bella Garden Florals would like to congratulate Becky and Jeff and we pray that they have a marriage filled with an abundance of love and happiness!

Kristen's Wedding Shower

My nephew Doug is getting married May 29th 2010. He is so blessed to have found the love of his life Kristen. We are all so very happy that she is a part of our family! My sister Linda gave Kristen a wedding shower this past weekend and each guest received one of these arrangements to take home and enjoy. I used coiled silver wire to add interest inside the vase and to suspend dangling hearts outside. A lavender fuji mum is the focal point. Fuji mums are always fun to use because of their unique appearance and they come in a variety of colors.

Valentine's Day 2010

I love my customers, they make my job so enjoyable. Clyde ordered 20 white roses embellished with pearls and a pearl wrapped vase. The roses were for his wife to celebrate their 20 year wedding anniversary. James, the same gentleman who ordered the 12 days of Christmas roses, ordered the mixed vase arrangement of red roses, red gerber daisies and white carnations to give his girlfriend for their first Valentine's Day together.

January 2010

Wow we sure have plenty of snow and I have to say that it is beautiful !! Even though I have taken a few walks in the snow the cold weather has kept me mostly indoors this week and has given me an opportunity to finish up some projects. I have been working on new wedding quotes for 2010 and have also been adding the finishing touches to our web site.
Next week starts our very first contest for our facebook fans. Watch for details or better yet become a fan on our facebook page. In the meantime stay warm and enjoy the beauty !!

Merry Christmas !
Bella Garden Florals is now over one year old and what a year it has been. When Tom and I decided to take this journey, we had no idea where it was going to lead us. In the beginning, Tom graciously turned over his garage. He built shelves and put in a heater and floral coolers and supplied me with everything I need to become a floral designer. We have had a wonderful year and we feel very blessed with the success of our new venture. This past year we have had the privilege of designing flowers for your special occasions. You have allowed us to be a part of the birth of new baby’s, we have had the pleasure of designing corsages and boutonnieres for your children’s school dances, and we have helped you decorate your homes with our silk and dried wreaths and arrangements. You have also included us in one of the most important days of your lives by allowing us to design the flowers for your weddings. Not a bad first year, we can’t wait to see what next year brings!
I would like to thank my husband Tom for always encouraging me and for sacrificing so much so that I can follow my hearts desire.
To dad...I hope I make you proud.
Bella Garden Florals would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and blessings for the New Year.

The 12 Days of Christmas
I have been working on a special order for one of Tom's co-workers and what a sweetheart he is. He wanted to surprise his girlfriend with flowers every day for twelve days. The first day is one white rose for the "1st day of Christmas" followed by two white roses the second day for the "2nd day of Christmas"...you know how the song goes. As the days go by the white roses will fade out and will be replaced with red roses, greenery and baby's breath all the way up to one dozen red roses on the 12th day of Christmas. I attached to each rose what the meaning of the line in the song is for each day. What a wonderful idea he came up with and what a lucky girlfriend he has to have such a thoughtful guy. This is one reason why I love my job !!

Carroll High School's Homecoming

Today I delivered several corsages and boutonniere's to Carroll High School for their Homecoming Dance. My brother-in-law John Agnew is the cross country coach for Carroll so several members of his team order their corsages and boutonniere's from me. This is my second year of making the flowers for Carroll and I have to say that John has a great group of kids that he coaches. They are all so polite and friendly and I always enjoy getting to meet and talk with them. What is really awesome is that some of the kids are sons and daughters of my old class mates. Wow does that make me feel old !

Wedding September 19, 2009
Kayla was a co-worker of Tom's. I met her in January 2009 and we began working on her wedding plan. Kayla's bouquet was hand tied with ivory satin ribbon, braided with gold ribbon and finished with a bow. Her flowers were lilies, roses and baby's breath.

Kayla wore a beautiful champagne wedding dress with gold trim. Kayla was great to work with. She was so easy to talk to and knew exactly what she was looking for.

The head table piece was made with lilies and roses. To enhance the color scheme, gold curly ting was added as an accent and rose petals were sprinkled on the table.

A lily was placed between the bride and groom glasses that sat on top of a round mirror. Each table had a centerpiece of one vase of varying heights that was placed on top of gold leather leaf. Each vase contained gold and white rock, a cymbidium orchid and a floating candle.
